About Greta
Greta Okomo is the Founder and CEO of Collaborative Change Consulting. She brings twenty years of experience in leadership development, organizational culture change, and inclusion work across higher education institutions and nonprofit organizations. Her approach is rooted in the belief that every person’s lived experience holds value.
Across every level of her career, Greta observed a consistent pattern: leaders cannot be effective if they don’t understand themselves or the people they are working with. She saw teams struggle when leaders operated in isolation, resulting in breakdowns in trust, communication, respect, and psychological safety. She also witnessed the power of intentional pause, especially after periods of instability when leaders and teams took time to reconnect, realign, and rebuild.
Greta does this work because she believes in the transformative potential of collaborative leadership. She believes that when people understand one another, honor each other’s stories, and align their actions with shared values, they create environments where everyone feels valued, seen, and empowered to thrive.

TESTIMONIALS

“Greta provided a fabulous two-part training for our staff and volunteers at Rappahannock CASA. She helped us understand what different levels of cultural competency look like and walked us through some team-building exercises focused on conflict resolution styles. She's a ball of energy, so it's really easy to stay engaged in her sessions. Honestly, I think our team would've been perfectly happy to spend another four hours with her on top of the four we had.”

“Greta gave a very insightful talk to my company for a DEI workshop. We spoke about implicit biases and the best ways to show each other respect in the workplace. The conversation was illuminating and so important! Thank you again, Greta!”
Product Manager, Warmly,

"Greta Okomo is an incredible leadership facilitator; she knows how to listen deeply to her participants and ask the right questions that foster trust, learning and collaboration amongst the group. She is also very skilled at bringing humor and lightness to sometimes heavy topics / content which further creates psychological safety with the participants. Greta has high degree of emotional intelligence, a calm and gentle spirit that is nurturing and impactful. I highly recommend her to facilitate training that will bring more communication, alignment and relationship building to any team."
